Products the group owns
Platforms like Zaptra One, which a group company owns and sells, and Labs designs, builds and maintains under agreement.
About Labs
TechZap began as a software company building for clients. As it grew into a group — Zaptra for brands and websites, TechZap Infra for providers, Flowra and ZENTIQ for automation and AI — it needed a place where products are made deliberately, owned properly and kept running for years.
That place is TechZap Labs. We are a small team of engineers who research a problem, write it down, build it to production standard, operate it, and then explain it — to customers in help centres and films, and to everyone else in studies like the one on Zaptra One.
What we build
Platforms like Zaptra One, which a group company owns and sells, and Labs designs, builds and maintains under agreement.
TechZap Infra and the tooling behind it — the plumbing every product in the group plugs into instead of rebuilding.
Research for Flowra (automation) and ZENTIQ (enterprise AI): prototypes that earn their way into products.
A small number of ventures with operators who bring a hard problem and want a lasting product, not a project.
How Labs is set up
When Labs builds a product for a group company, that company owns the product, the brand, the client relationships and the client data. Labs keeps its general-purpose know-how and licenses it back. TechZap Infra hosts and connects. Each of those relationships has its own written agreement, including when engineers may access production.
It sounds like paperwork, and it is — but it means every product has an owner who answers to customers, a builder who answers for the code, and a platform that answers for uptime.
Where we are
Labs works from Colombo. Our first products are shaped by Sri Lankan realities — rupee pricing, bank transfers, phone-first customers, three languages — and built to the standard needed to take them to the UK, the Gulf, Australia and beyond.
TechZap Labs is part of TechZap Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.
